The red and blue colors are a bit darker than standard blue and red while a medium beige material is used for the areas that are white on a regular battle flag thus offering a tea-stained vintage presence. Cotton flags feature a very heavy, luxurious look and feel and are intended for indoor use, such as framing or simply hanging on a wall. Cotton flags may be used outside on a temporary basis for parades, presentations ceremonies, etc. but will fade with prolonged exposure to the outdoor elements.
